Thinking of sending your gold away to one of those heavily advertised cash for gold places, or selling your gold at a gold party?

Mailing your gold
While they claim to offer top prices the simple truth is they do not. In fact they are hardly even competitive prices. Realize that once you send your gold away to these places you immediately lose all bargaining power. You are now at the mercy of them. You have no control or guarantees over their process at this point. You have to take their word for the content and amount of gold they say you have, and you have to accept their price they are willing to pay. What happens if you do not like the offer they give you? Well first of all, they are going to offer you a little more money, which should tell you right away that they were not giving you the best deal to begin with. If you still do not accept their offer then they try and charge you to ship it back to you. So at this point you have wasted time and money.

Gold Parties
First of all, it is illegal in most cases. Not that you are breaking the law but you are an accessory to a crime by aiding somebody who is buying gold illegally. In California, in order to legally purchase jewelry or gold you have to have a second hand dealers license, you have to report everything you buy to the police department, and you have to hold everything you buy for 30 days in order for it to clear a police background check. That is the law, and that is the standard that pawnshops are held to. People going around buying gold at gold parties are in violation of state law. Why do they do it then and how can they get away with it? Simple, there is a lot of money to be made and the police are not interested in enforcing the law. So are you going to go to jail? Probably not, but you are helping somebody break the law.
Why sell to us?
That is easy. We pay the most! In fact we pay so much that we buy gold from other dealers and pawnshops.
